7. How Long We Keep Your Data
7.1. Active AccountsWe retain your data for as long as your account is active and you continue using Requiply.
7.2. After Account Closure- You can export your data before closing your account
- We retain your data for 30 days after account closure to allow for account recovery
- After 30 days, we permanently delete your data unless legally required to retain it
7.3. Legal and Accounting ObligationsSome data must be retained longer for legal or accounting purposes:
- Transaction Records: Retained for tax and accounting requirements (typically 5-7 years)
- Legal Disputes: Data related to ongoing legal matters

12. Your Customer Data (Data Processor Role)
12.1. You Are the ControllerFor the customer data you input into Requiply's CRM and other systems, you are the data controller and Requiply acts as a data processor.
12.2. Your ResponsibilitiesAs the data controller for your customer data, you must:
- Have a legal basis for collecting and processing your customers' data
- Obtain necessary consents from your customers
- Provide your customers with your own privacy policy
- Ensure data accuracy and keep it up to date
- Respond to your customers' privacy rights requests
- Comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, etc.)
- Not use Requiply for unlawful data processing
12.3. Our Responsibilities as ProcessorWhen processing your customer data, we:
- Process data only according to your instructions
- Maintain appropriate security measures
- Assist you in responding to data subject requests when needed
- Delete or return data when you close your account
- Notify you of any data breaches affecting your customer data
12.4. Data Processing AgreementThe data processing terms between you and Requiply regarding your customer data are incorporated into our Terms of Service. For enterprise customers, we can provide a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) upon request.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
13.1. External LinksRequiply may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications. This Privacy Policy does not cover those third parties. We're not responsible for their privacy practices.
