Hello Requiply community! We're excited to announce our latest update - Requiply 1.1.2! This release marks our first steps into supporting vacation rental businesses alongside equipment rentals. Based on your feedback, we've added features that make showcasing properties more intuitive while enhancing the visual appeal of all your rental items.

What's New in Version 1.1.2?

You asked for better ways to present vacation rentals, and we listened! This update introduces two major features that will transform how you showcase properties and equipment on your website.

1. Item Showcase Component

The new Item Showcase component is designed specifically with properties in mind. When a customer views your vacation rental:

• They see a beautiful gallery displaying all images of the property
• Your detailed property description is prominently featured
• Clicking "Book" takes them directly to cart for a simplified checkout process
• The entire experience is optimized for vacation rentals rather than equipment rentals

Real-Life Use Cases:

• A beach house rental can showcase ocean views from multiple angles
• A mountain cabin rental can highlight interior features alongside outdoor surroundings
• An urban apartment rental can display amenities, layout, and neighborhood views

Unlike equipment rentals where customers typically browse and add multiple items, property rentals benefit from this dedicated showcase and streamlined booking path.

2. Multi-Image Support & Item Types

We've completely revamped how images work in Requiply:

• Upload multiple images for any rental item in your inventory
• Assign a type (Property or Equipment) when creating new items
• Enjoy different display behaviors based on item type:
  • Properties don't display stock numbers or delivery options
  • Equipment maintains the familiar multi-item selection workflow

Real-Life Use Cases:

• A tool rental business can show equipment from multiple angles and in different contexts
• A vacation property owner can showcase bedrooms, kitchen, living areas, and exterior views
• A party equipment rental can display their tents assembled in various settings

Important note: Item type cannot be changed after creation, so choose carefully when adding new inventory.
