Requiply 1.3.3: Offline Mobile App, Catalog Filters and Holidays

What's New in Requiply 1.3.3?

This release keeps the counter running when the internet doesn't, helps clients find the right gear on your booking page and takes the guesswork out of handovers and deposits.

1. A Mobile App That Works on Bad Internet

The Inventory tab in the Requiply app with no connection: products with photos, daily prices and stock, and a red badge on the avatar
The Confirm step of a new booking on a weak connection with the notice Slow connection. Creating may take up to a minute
The profile in the Requiply app with Keep data on this phone switched on
No connection: inventory and prices from the phone. A weak signal: the booking still goes through.

Rentals happen on job sites, in basements, at outdoor events and in the mountains, where the signal is often one bar. The app now notices a weak connection and adapts instead of freezing, so bookings and new clients go through even on 2G.

A booking sent on a dropped connection is sent again once the network is back, never twice
Keep data on this phone keeps products, prices, clients and bookings on the phone, encrypted
With no connection, browse inventory, find clients, scan codes and prepare a booking
A badge on your avatar shows a weak or missing connection; tap it to see what works right now

We explain it in detail in Slow and no internet mode for equipment rental businesses.

2. A Catalog Clients Can Browse

portal.requiply.com/stalford-studio-en/items
The client portal catalog of Stalford Studio with a category tree on the left, Microphones selected under Audio Equipment, a Brand filter with Rode ticked and the matching microphones
Clients open a subcategory and filter by the specifications you choose.

Categories can now nest up to five levels: Audio Equipment → Microphones, Video Equipment → Switchers. Every product can carry a description, and any product field can become a filter on your booking page and website.

Drag categories into order or move them with arrows, then save
A Description on each product, shown in the portal and sent to your website
Turn on Filter on the booking page and website for fields like Brand, Connector or Weight
The inventory filter by category includes its subcategories

3. Holidays and Closed Days

The Date & time settings with the Holidays and Closed Days table listing Christmas Day and New Year's Day every year and a one-off Studio stocktaking, and the Upcoming closed days in the schedule preview

Add public holidays and one-off closures under Settings → Date & time. A holiday works like a closed weekday: no pickup or return can fall on it, in the app, the client portal, the API and the AI assistants, while a rental can still run through it.

Repeat a date every year, or close a single day or a whole period
Refusals name the holiday, in your organization's language
Full Day buffers and the AI's working hours treat holidays as closed

4. Adjust the Deposit on One Booking

The Deposit adjustment dialog on a booking: Percent selected, the presets -25%, -50% and No deposit, a reason, and the deposit before and after
The Deposit adjustment dialog on a booking: Percent selected, the presets -25%, -50% and No deposit, a reason, and the deposit before and after
Halve the deposit for a regular client, or waive it, with a reason everyone can see.

A regular client, a short rental or a deal made on the phone: the deposit no longer has to follow the policy. Use the pencil next to the deposit on the booking, or the Deposit button while creating it. Choose a percentage, an amount, a number of periods or No deposit, and add a reason.

The price adjustment moved into the same kind of dialog on the booking page, so both are edited in one place.

5. Faster Pickups and Returns

The return checklist of a booking with the progress bar, a code field for typing or scanning unit codes, and products listed one line each with their units and a Mark all button

The handover checklist was rebuilt around how a warehouse actually works.

One line per product with its units; large products open a units list with search
A code field and Mark all on both pickup and return checklists
Assign all picks and checks free units in one step
Units that didn't come back get their outcome in bulk: still with the client, damaged or lost
In the booking form, a scanned or typed unit code lands straight in the item search

6. Take Bookings on Your Own Website

The Website embed settings for WordPress: install the plugin, connect your account with the organization code, add booking to your pages, and the list of shortcodes

Your products and booking cart can now live on your own website. On WordPress, install the plugin and add shortcodes; on WooCommerce, the booking button goes on your product pages. Guides: WordPress and WooCommerce.

Offer services like delivery or setup at checkout, with a price per day, per hour or on request
Your client portal appears on Google once you're on a paid plan, with clean product addresses
Use your own domain for the portal

7. In the Mobile App

The Filter and sort sheet on an iPhone with the sort order, status chips with New selected, and Client, Payment and Source filters
A Telegram conversation on an iPhone with one of the team's replies held and the menu Copy, Edit and Delete
A booking on an iPhone with the price and deposit pencils and the Actions menu with Adjust price and Adjust deposit
Filters for bookings, editing a sent message and deposit adjustments on the phone. Android has the same features.
Filter bookings by status, client, payment and source, and sort them
Hold a message or comment to copy, reply, edit or delete it
Adjust the price or the deposit from the booking
A flashlight in the scanner, pull to refresh on every list and a new photo viewer
Split views and tables on iPad and Android tablets

8. Smaller Improvements

Inventory tasks get numbers, a full list with filters and their own page
Large fleets: units load page by page with search on the product
14 currencies including the Indian rupee, all of them with Stripe
Export templates: product images, full price totals, custom column headers and a totals row
New revenue charts on the analytics page, and category revenue compared with the previous period
Switch a workflow on or off right from its card
