What's New in Requiply 1.2.5?
This release brings text messaging to your automations. Requiply can now send SMS and Viber notifications to your customers, powered by three new communication integrations — Kyivstar, Twilio, and TurboSMS. Connect a provider once, then drop the new Send SMS / Viber action into any workflow to confirm bookings, chase payments, and send pickup reminders straight to your customer's phone — no separate texting app, no manual copy-paste.
1. New Workflow Action — Send SMS / Viber

The automation engine gains a new action type: Send SMS / Viber to customer. Pair it with any existing trigger — a status reached, a payment status reached, or a booking created — and Requiply sends a text message to the customer's phone number on the booking, automatically.
What Changed
Where to Configure
Open Settings → Workflows, add or edit a workflow, pick a trigger, then choose the Send SMS / Viber to customer action. Select the provider and channel, and write your message — booking variables are filled in at send time.
Example confirmation message:
{{clientFirstName}}, your booking on {{bookingStartDate}} is confirmed.
Payment link: {{paymentIntegrationLink}}
Total: {{bookingTotalCharged}}
A configured communication integration and a valid customer phone number are required for the action to send.
Practical Use Cases:
- Booking confirmation: When a reservation reaches Confirmed, text the customer the date, total, and payment link — they get it on their phone in seconds, no email to open
- Payment reminder: Send an SMS or Viber message before pickup if the balance is still unpaid, so customers actually see the nudge
- Status notifications: Text cancellations, pickup-ready alerts, or any other status change the moment it happens
2. Three New Communication Integrations

To power the new action, 1.2.5 adds three communication providers under Settings → Integrations → Communications. Set one up once and it becomes available as a provider in the Send SMS / Viber action.
What Changed
Set Up Each Provider
Each integration has its own step-by-step tutorial — credentials, sender names, and the exact settings to fill in:
- Kyivstar — Kyivstar integration guide
- Twilio — Twilio integration guide
- TurboSMS — TurboSMS integration guide
Practical Use Cases:
- Local Ukrainian rental: Connect Kyivstar with an approved sender name and reach customers on a trusted national network
- International or multi-country operator: Use Twilio so a single Messaging Service covers every country you ship to
- Viber-first audience: Pick TurboSMS to send rich Viber messages (with SMS fallback) to customers who live in the app

What's Next?
Version 1.2.5 puts your customer's phone in reach of your automations — Kyivstar, Twilio, and TurboSMS for the providers, and the Send SMS / Viber action for the moment a status changes.
Here's what we're building next:
Official TypeScript SDK — a typed client for the public API, so anyone who wants a rental business website can describe it in Lovable, v0, Cursor, or any custom stack and get a working booking experience in hours, not weeks. The hard parts — availability math, payments, deposits, scheduling — stay Requiply's responsibility; the front end becomes yours to shape.
